Clinical Language Scientist Specializing in Developmental Language Disorder
Karla McGregor is a clinical language scientist specializing in Developmental Language Disorder and other related conditions. She is a senior scientist at Boys Town National Research Hospital, Omaha, NE, USA, where she also serves as the Director of the Center for Childhood Deafness, Language and Learning. She is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, IA, USA. Dr. McGregor is a founding member of DLDandMe.org, a volunteer organization aimed at providing accessible evidence-based information to parents and others who nurture, teach, or serve individuals with Developmental Language Disorder. She is a past member of the international advocacy group, RADLD (Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder), and the founding member of the US RADLD Ambassadors.
