Celebrating Dorothy: A Festschrift for Dorothy V. M. Bishop
Join us to celebrate and honour Dorothy's contributions to science and community

Dorothy Bishop retires in 2022. Plans are underway for a two-day scientific meeting showcasing research inspired by Dorothy's contributions. We have two major themes: language development and disorder, from neurobiology through to intervention, and reproducibility and open science. Throughout, we'll hear from keynote speakers and early career researchers, including some of the many people who have benefitted from Dorothy's wisdom and mentorship. We're planning fun and celebration as we look back over Dorothy's amazing career along with reflections on where we are now and where our science is going.
This website will grow over the months and we hope it will serve as a lasting tribute to Dorothy. For now though, we are now pleased to open bookings #DBFest.
The meeting is being organised by Kate Nation, Kate Watkins, Courtenay Norbury, and Amy Orben.
