Jo Evershed is on a mission to provide behavioral scientists with tools to liberate their work from the lab and accelerate the creation of interventions that can be tested rigorously at scale.  As the founder CEO of Gorilla Experiment Builder, Jo leads a multidisciplinary team of software engineers and experimental psychologists focused on creating powerful and accessible experimental research infrastructure for researchers and students across the globe.

"WWDD - What Would Dorothy Do. This became a common refrain in my team after we worked with Dorothy. It meant: what's the most rigorous or transparent way to do this? How do we make sure our protocols are solid and our designs tight? Dorothy's breadth of knowledge and expertise coupled with her kindness and generosity are an inspiration to all of us to do the reading and do the work.  There are - after all - no shortcuts when it comes to great science.  She will leave a massive hole when she retires, but no doubt continue to inspire the many of us that have been shaped by her."
