About Dorothy:
"Dorothy is an absolute legend and her contributions to our understanding to the causes and consequences of developmental language disorder (DLD) and other developmental conditions cannot be underestimated. Despite her legend status, she is without ego and will give the same time and consideration to junior researchers and clinicians as she would to world-famous scientists. This is because she is interested in the truth, and in making science better so that everyone can benefit. I will be forever grateful to Dorothy for taking a chance on me as a naïve clinician, sharing her knowledge and wisdom so generously, and providing unwavering support throughout my career. It has been the privilege of a lifetime to work with Dorothy and our colleagues to raise awareness of DLD and to see the impact the RADLD campaign has had on the lives of young people."
